UAV Survey for Mapping and 3D Modeling
I've conducted multiple UAV-based aerial surveys to generate orthomosaic maps, DEMs, and topographic layers. Post-processing was carried out using Pix4D and Agisoft Metashape. I also created 3D models of buildings and terrains, which were used in visualization and planning workflows.
Bridge, Route, and Alignment Survey
I’ve taken part in route alignment and bridge survey projects. My work included reconnaissance survey, centerline marking, and terrain data collection. The use of Total Station and compass helped establish new alignments efficiently. These experiences strengthened my skills in profile leveling, cross-sectioning, and road design evaluation.
LiDAR Survey for 3D Surface Modeling
I was involved in a LiDAR survey project aimed at generating high-accuracy 3D models. I worked on planning the flight path, operating LiDAR sensors, and processing point cloud data. This task enabled a deep understanding of terrain modeling, object classification, and volumetric analysis using LiDAR technology.
Hydropower Survey (Academic Field Project)
During my academic field survey, I participated in the layout and mapping of a proposed hydropower site. I assisted in establishing control points using GNSS, capturing terrain profiles, and preparing topographic maps using Total Station. It gave me exposure to survey workflows in remote terrain for hydropower development.
Leveling Survey for Height Difference
I used a Level Machine to determine the elevation change between two points roughly 5 kilometers apart. The survey was conducted with careful benchmark transfer, and the final result showed an elevation difference of approximately 85 meters. This task improved my precision in reading levels, recording backsight and foresight, and calculating height of instrument.
